did you think we weren't serious?

If you are considering whether or not to give your child a mullet, don't visit this site. While funny and entertaining, it definitely makes a mother think twice. Which I did, but I still came up with the same conclusion both times. Tyler needed a mullet. We decided to tackle this at home, though neither of us really know how to cut a mullet. Good thing we're good at making stuff up.

Getting the part just right. Have any of you ever done a part at the back of the head? It's a little weird.
Clipping back the hair that won't get cut. Alexis thought Tyler looked like Beast from "Beauty and the Beast" with his hair like this.

In the process.
Doesn't he look old? I was nearly in tears because I want him to still be my baby, but now he's my little boy.
Looks like he likes it!
From the back.
You really have to see it in person, if at all possible, I promise it will bring a smile to your face. Like I suspected I would, I just laugh every time I look at him.

At the end of all of this I realized how happy I am that I married Jeremy because he comes up with the most awesome ideas! But I guess I should have realized that when we were engaged and making our wedding announcements, and he said, "let's put that we are registered at McDonald's".

Lisa and Jeremy! Once again, you amaze me! How could one not be drawn to you and the fun personalities that you have! (Allowing your children to face the realities of your fun and dreams!) I must admit though, not too bad! Looks like a fun time had by all! :)
By the way! I think it soooooooooo awesome that you had McDonald's added to your registry when you two were wed! :) The fun never ends! (And, that my friends, is what I like to see!) :)

I just had to look back and see if you guys actually did it. Thanks for not letting me down! He reminds me of a kid I went to Kindergarten with. Although you could try braiding it into little sections-that is what he used to do.Just a thought:)

thanks for the mulletsgalore website. That's definitely worth viewing. He does look cute, but that's not why he's got a mullet. I just think the mullet hairstyle is the funniest ever invented, so why not do it? And ashlee, thank you so much for the braiding idea. Seriously, why didn't I think of that?

I'll be honest, when you posed the question and put up your poll, I didn't know what to say. I don't think I ever put my answer down. But deep down we all know what I really wanted....I wanted to see the mullet. It looks awesome, haha. I'm so glad you did it! (Even though I was torn at first. My hesitation only came from wondering if it was wrong to really want him to have a child mullet? haha.)

once the mullet dies, you should first braid it. then either save it, or have a funeral and bury it.

Wow. Well done guys, well done. I salute you both for your humor... and courage :) I like it! He pulls it off quite well! I wonder how he will feel about this when he is a teenager and out come the baby pics around his friends! What a great conversation starter!
