Aaaargh mateys!

Two new bags in the shop. Hopefully more by the end of the week.

Also, any suggestions on how to store brown sugar so it doesn't get all clumpy?? That is one of my life's great mysteries.

Also also, we had our neighbor man over for dinner who used to be a big white water rafter, and it's re-put the itch in my system to go do that. I have ALWAYS wanted to go on a crazy rafting trip. Anyone want to come along?

Also also also, if you are wondering why I said "aaaargh mateys" then you better look at the links for the bags.

Actually yes...I do happen to know what to do with brown sugar...funny you ask. I know I am full of weird random information and sometimes it actually comes in handy. Put a piece of bread in your bag (just do it) and for some reason it stays smooth and fresh. You can put it in a tupperware too, however you store your brown sugar. It works every time.

Yes. I was going to say the "bread trick". The Brown sucks the moisture from the bread and that keeps it from drying out and getting clumped together. Even if your brown sugar is totally clumped and hard, just put a piece of bread in with it and it will be all better by morning at the latest.

White water rafting? I would think that would be the Last sport you'd want to try. Are you turning over a new leaf? I went once. It was aweosme!

I also do the bread trick, and it totally works wonders. When the bread gets really stale and crumbly I just switch it out for another piece of bread. One piece usually works for months, though, and really keeps brown sugar soft.

I LOVE the new bags, by the way! You should totally reserve one of those green floral ones for my niece! =) Very cute.

Yep, bread! But after the bread is dry and the sugar is soft...take the bread out...or it will mold...i know from experience! We have a canister and with a rub seal and I put the bread in the lid. Oh they also sell little clay bear things that you can use over and over.

Hey! We use the clay bear and it has worked wonders! And I don't have to worry about it going moldy. I just stick it on the top of the brown sugar in my little cansiter thing. It's awesome!
